The Student Disciplinary Court System (SDCS) is a group of 7–10 students who are responsible for investigating cases of student misbehaviour and making disciplinary decisions. Under this motion, the SDCS has the final decision-making power in disciplinary cases, following existing school rules.

For this debate, grading teachers means pupils giving structured feedback on their teachers’ teaching methods, clarity, fairness, and respect. This does not include decisions about hiring, promotion, or dismissal of teachers.

Traditional community storytelling systems are methods of teaching children moral values through spoken stories shared by elders in communal settings, where children listen together and learn through narrative examples using characters, animals, or real-life events to illustrate ideas such as honesty, respect, responsibility, and cooperation. Learning in this system is indirect, as children are not given explicit instructions but instead derive moral lessons by interpreting the meaning of stories and their consequences. 

Formal parenting methods are methods of teaching children moral values through direct instruction within the home, where parents communicate clear rules, expectations, and feedback about behaviour, often correcting actions through explanation, guidance, or discipline. Learning in this system is direct, as children are explicitly told what behaviours are acceptable or unacceptable and are guided through structured rules.
